Pediatrics Clinic
The Department of Pediatrics treats children from newborns
through adolescents. The department also provides general
and specialty pediatric outpatient services for follow-up
care and early intervention, as well as pediatric emergency
services. In addition to providing a friendly and
comfortable environment (to help your child feel at ease in
hospital), we offer sleeping facilities for a parent or
caregiver whenever the need arises. We encourage parental
involvement wherever possible. The Special Care Unit on the
pediatric floor provides care for acutely ill children.
A team of specially trained physicians and nurses provides
intensive, round-the-clock monitoring and treatment of low
birth-weight or sick newborns in the Neonatal Critical Care
Unit (NCCU). The planning and care of your child before and
during their stay is provided by a skilled team of health
professionals who share a commitment to meet the particular
needs of each child. We believe that recovery is a shared
role between parents, nursing and medical staff. We offer a
number of specialized pediatric services and programs, which
helps alleviate children’s fears about surgery and medical
procedures. We look forward to meeting you and caring for
your child.
The services that we provide are as follows:
-
Growth monitoring clinic.
-
Treatment of allergy and bronchial asthma.
-

-
